BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: April 24, 2006
Present: Stephen Enoch, Melissa Noe (clerk), Peter Kolodziej, & John Makuc
Also in attendance: Bob from White Engineering, Stefan Grotz, Lou from Soil Tech
The meeting began at 3:45pm
· Approved minutes as written from 4/3/06
· Approved the article for submission to the Monterey News regarding our presentation on March 22nd
· Bob from White Engineering is representing Judi Kamenstein on 18 Woodland Dr to discuss a title 5 system and well on the property that meets the town setbacks. The board said that if this is new construction a reserve area would also need to be in place. Discussions also ensued regarding setback issues and the possibility of a variance being needed for the 150ft setback. If it’s kept as a 2 bedroom, the building inspector would need to be asked how he interprets the current floor plan to determine if it would still be new construction or an upgrade.
· Stefan Grotz, attorney and Lou from Soiltech came in to discuss the Fried/Greenwald property and septic plans. Floor plans were requested by the board and once those are received a decision will be made at the next meeting with possible conditions.
· Drafting a letter to the Planning Board regarding retaining walls and article 22 on the warrant was discussed and a letter will be written and sent out this week
· Copies of the Summary of the Conflict of Interest Law & the Practical Guide were handed out to all board members and discussed
· Reviewed and revised job descriptions for the Animal Control Officer and Animal Inspector
